Youth Ministry Leaders
Ministers' Cory and Tanishia Edwards
Ministersí Cory and Tanishia Edwards are natives of the Central Florida area. They met in 2011 and were married on February 18, 2012. Having both grown up in ministry, they have an uncommon love for God and desire to see His will manifested both in their lives and the world.
Minister Cory grew up in Anointed Word Family Worship Center located in Apopka, FL which is spiritually covered by Pastor Gregory Powe (Revealing Truth Ministries), a spiritual son of Pastor Creflo Dollar. At the ripe age of 12, he began serving in the video camera ministry and the usher ministry. He loved the Lord as a child and led other young people to Christ in school bible study meetings and daily prayer around the school flag pole. As he became a teenager, he continued serving in ministry as a Jr. PPA, church maintenance ministry, microphone technician ministry leader, video camera ministry leader, Faith Food Bookstore assistant leader, evangelistic outreach team, and the teen ministry. At the age of 20, he began training as a minister and was responsible for oversight of church operations at Ark of Faith Church International in the role of Church Administrator.
Minister Tanishia grew up in Rescue Church of God located in Sanford, FL under the leadership of Pastor Quintin Faison. Even as a young child, she had a passion and desire to sing praise and worship unto God. She began her service in ministry by singing in the choir and working with the youth department. Soon after, she began leading the adult and youth choirs as the choir director and began teaching Sunday school. She has also served in the womenís ministry and as the Pastorís Aide. In 2011, Minister Tanishia launched the Travailing Women Birthing Forth Destiny Conference, where she witnessed the lives of many women transformed.
In 2012, Minister Cory and Tanishia accepted the call of God on their lives and were ordained and licensed into ministry under the leadership and ministry of Apostle Marc T. Dixon. Their greatest desire has always been to see peopleís lives transformed by the power of Godís Word.
Ministersí Cory and Tanishia were blessedly released by Apostle Dixon and led by God to join World Covenant Christian Center in March 2015. Minister Cory is the Coordinator of Student Relations for Atlanta Public Schools and has a Bachelorís degree from Kaplan University and a MBA from Texas A&M University. Minister Tanishia currently serves as the School Clerk for Grady High School. She also has a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Human Services degree with a concentration in Family and Child Services from the University of Phoenix. They have two children; Desiree and Cory Edwards Jr. (ďCJĒ).
Ministersí Cory and Tanishia have no greater desire than to see young people on fire for God and unashamedly serving Him in their everyday lives. They are passionate about young people discovering their gifts and living out
